It is always Self Motivation

Many scholars has come up with many theories on Motivation and is in fact also one of the most discussed topic.
The challenge lies in the getting things done through the right person at the right time. To get the things done through other or even my one self people say the need to be motivated and many believe that we can really motivate the people.
However i here held little different view, i feel that one person can not motivate another person as motivation is  a decision of self to go into action. However one can influence and persuade applying logos, ethos or pathos. A person can always try to motivate other person but until and unless the person to be motivated does not internalize the information and decides on his/ her own  to act accordingly the second party is not successful. So one can only help another person to be motivated by influencing, influence is in the control of second person but motivation is always the decision of the first person.
Hence we cannot motivate people but we can influence them so they are self motivated. Influence is at surface level and the action derived from influence is of short term characteristics but when there is self motivation through self internalization, the result is more from substratum and the action is also strong.
